Abigail works as a dating coach and has written a book on the subject that she hopes to get published. However, the publisher is hesitant, and to convince him, Abigail agrees to use her dating tips and find a man to bring to the company's Christmas party in twelve days. She sets out and meets Michael, starting to put her own advice into practice. Along the way, she discovers that not all the advice may be as good, and moreover, Michael is more interesting than she had anticipated.
