Zara, who still lives at home with her mother Brooke, works as an assistant to the demanding movie star Chris. She constantly has to deal with his various whims and often handle it when he breaks up with yet another girlfriend. However, his promises to help her become a producer remain unfulfilled. This drives Zara to finally quit. In an attempt to get her back, Chris comes to her house where he meets her mother. He becomes fascinated by Brooke, and one thing leads to another, suddenly presenting Zara with new challenges.
This definitely doesn't follow any template for a romantic film, maybe that's why it turns out so good. Even though the romance is a main event, the movie is just as much about Zara and how she struggles with it happening. The age difference between Chris and Brooke is also interesting.
