Emily struggles to keep her father's dairy farm alive. Her sister, Dorothy, who moved out a long ago, wants them to sell it. She brings in Charlie, who is tasked with finding a buyer for the farm. To save the farm, Emily starts their ice cream shop in the middle of winter.
