As a reporter, Kate likes to be at the center of the action, so much so that she is instructed to take it easy. She is assigned to do a story about a person who found a bag of $100,000 on his stairs. While she reports this, more cases emerge. Who is this mysterious donor giving seemingly random people money? In her search, she learns, among other things, know the fireman Eric and the politician Jack. Could any of them be this mysterious person?
