Molly is starting her own business with an app that matches people for convenience dates without romance. To show how good it is, she is forced to use the app herself and is paired with Jeff, a guy she's bumped into a couple of times before with bad vibes. Despite this, they decide to continue dating before Christmas when they are invited to several 'plus one' events.
