Widow Miranda tries to cope with her existence alone with three children, but it's tough. She lands a job at a restaurant where she also has a relationship with the owner, Tucker. One day she happens to drive into a car with Professor Bray who offers to fix her car without them having to involve the insurance company. When they are hit by a storm and a tree falls through the roof of their kitchen, Bray offers to fix the roof as well. Miranda is forced to deal with the expectations of her ex-mother-in-law while being torn between Bray and Tucker. But why is Bray actually there?
A mix between drama and romantic film. It is done with finess and turns out very well.
