The successful food critic Halle's sister is getting married, and for the wedding, she wants Halle to meet the pediatrician Peter. However, just in time for the wedding, the catering provider breaks her leg and instead sends her brother Jamie. Jamie is a celebrity chef who has just been fired for refusing to allow food critics into his restaurant. Halle and Jamie, who have met once before, have completely different attitudes and immediately start bickering.
