MacKenzie's dad, who was a firefighter, passed away a few years ago, and MacKenzie misses him deeply. She put her medical studies on hold and now works as a teacher in her hometown. The town hosts "Reindeer Games" every year, where MacKenzie and her dad's colleagues used to participate annually. However, this year, Chase shows up. He and MacKenzie were schoolmates and were almost together for a brief period. Today, Chase is a famous movie star struggling to get a new role in a new film. He is persuaded by his nephew to join his team in the Reindeer Games, and once again, MacKenzie and Chase find themselves pitted against each other.
The movie was better than I expected, and it lives up to the standards of a well-crafted romantic film.
