The company Juliet works for needs a new product to launch before Christmas to attract more visitors to their online sales. In search of inspiration, Juliet goes for a walk and ends up in Tom’s candle shop. Tom makes and sells handcrafted scented candles. Juliet gets the idea that this could be exactly the product the company needs for Christmas. She convinces Tom to develop products they can launch and becomes actively involved in the process, spending quite a bit of time with Tom and his daughter.
The concept of scented candles as a revolutionary product meant to turn the company’s sales figures around feels rather far-fetched. The film is like most others and doesn’t stand out in any way. It’s simply not good enough.
