Angela balances her life as a real estate agent and a single mother. Her daughter, Brooklyn, is active in the Scouts, and Angela tries to be a good mom by participating in their activities, although the Scout leader doubts her ability to do so. Meanwhile, Brooklyn visits the local bakery run by William daily. She likes William and hopes Angela take an interest in him. The Scouts are now planning a Christmas ball, and Angela and Brooklyn come up with the idea of having William's bakery as the event’s catering provider. Now they just need to convince the Scout leader together with William.
