Sasha and Marcus grew up together as neighbors. After accidentally taking their friendship to the next level in their teens, they became enemies. Now Sasha is a successful celebrity chef while Marcus is still at home working with his father. When Sasha is about to open another restaurant, this time at home in San Francisco, she returns to the city to oversee the construction and opening. There she meets Marcus again. An embarrassing meeting after all these years, but she is still drawn into their old world with friends and Marcus's band that he plays with.
