Tina and her three best friends run a gift-wrapping shop. Ahead of Christmas, they sponsor a holiday gala, a very important event for the shop. However, it soon becomes clear that the venue for the event has been sold, and the new owners have canceled the booking. It turns out that the deal, which is not yet finalized, was made by Michael Alonzo, who also happens to be the same man Tina met while out shopping. She sets out to try to convince Michael to save the situation. His daughter also wishes that Tina could see Michael as more than just an obstacle, but Tina is scarred after being left at the altar by her ex-fiancé.
This is a movie in the Unwrapping Christmas series, which features standalone parallel storylines. It's quite fun to watch them together. However, I thought this one might go off the rails since Michael comes across as a pretty slimy character at the start. But the movie redeems itself as it progresses and ultimately lands at a four.
