Plot

Victoria’s husband leaves her and their two daughters. She tries to hold on to the house, but it’s difficult after having been a stay-at-home mother for so long. Eventually, she is forced to move back in with her grandmother, who lives together with Victoria’s mother and her sisters in North Pole, Alaska. It becomes a challenging adjustment as she struggles to regain her footing in life. At the local grocery store, she runs into Kevin, an old schoolmate who never left town. They start spending time together, but Victoria continues to wrestle with trust issues following her divorce.

Short review

The film is a pure family production, with the lead actress having written the script, directed, and produced it. She would have needed a larger budget and more professional support. The acting is very stiff and lacks flow. Worst of all, however, is the sound editing, which really drags the film down. The audio quality can shift within a single line of dialogue to such an extent that it genuinely feels pasted on.
