Taylor loses her job just before Christmas, and to make matters worse, her daughter is accepted into a snowboarding course that Taylor struggles to afford. She learns that the ski resort’s hotel offers discounts on the course for employees. The problem is that the only job available is as the hotel’s Santa Claus. Taylor enlists the help of her brother and his boyfriend, who are experts in costumes, to disguise her as Santa and manages to land the job. This means she also has to work with Matthew, whose father has put him in charge of running the hotel over Christmas. She also meets Matthew as herself — and now she has to juggle both that and her job as Santa Claus.
Well, the idea that she could fool everyone into thinking she’s a man in a Santa suit is perhaps a bit far-fetched. But if you’re willing to overlook that, it’s a good romantic film that holds up.
