Mandy is trying to succeed as a real-estate agent at the same firm where her boyfriend Tom works. One day she fails to sell a house because of a cat making noise inside it. She takes the cat in but isn’t quite sure what to do with it. She then meets the veterinarian Jack and seeks his help with the cat. Meanwhile, her grandparents want her to take over their bowling alley. Tom thinks it’s an excellent idea to sell it to a property developer, but Mandy isn’t entirely ready to give up on the idea of taking it over herself. She also wants to organise a gala where people can adopt lonely animals — something she’s been inspired to do by Jack.
A B-production that doesn’t convince. It has a rather cheap feel to it, and it falls flat.
