Evan is a teacher with somewhat unconventional methods that he practices at the boarding school where he works. As the Christmas holidays approach, three students remain at the school, and Evan, who is also staying, takes responsibility for them. It proves to be a challenge, as Andrew, one of the students, is a bitter and cynical figure with attitude problems. However, Evan takes it upon himself to try to help the students grow over the holidays. Also working at the school is Clarissa, the art teacher.
That this movie is marketed, including the poster, as a romantic film is quite misleading. It focuses almost entirely on Evan and the youngsters. It feels like they changed their minds at the last minute and threw in the romance. As a romantic film, it only gets a 2/6.
