Monica has been an angel pairing people together for true love for many centuries. Michael is fairly new to the job and has a completely different approach to the challenge. This year, he even wins the award for Best Angel of the Year. But now it turns out that Monica and Michael have been assigned to match the same couple — something that goes against all the rules. Apparently, upper management has decided this should happen as part of potential future cutbacks. Against their will, the two are now sent to Earth to bring the couple together, despite their very different methods.
An interesting and rather frightening vision of heaven that they portray. The whole concept doesn’t work, no matter how hard they try. Not a terrible film, but definitely not a winner either.
