Georgia is doing her best to pull off this year’s Christmas play at the local community center. Meanwhile, Chase Knightly is under media scrutiny for his reckless lifestyle. When he finds himself locked out and needing a place to lay low until he can get back home, he takes refuge at the center.
There, he stumbles into a room where Georgia is rehearsing — and things take an unexpected turn when the press assumes she’s his latest girlfriend. Realising that a steady relationship could improve his public image and help secure an important business deal for his father, Chase convinces Georgia to play the part. Though reluctant, she agrees — on the condition that his family invests in a new community center.
No, this one doesn’t make it over the line. Chase’s transformation from playboy to responsible businessman isn’t believable, and overall it’s painted with strokes that are a bit too broad.
