Emily is on her way to Bali for Christmas to escape the holiday madness. However, her plane makes an emergency landing in Colorado, and while trying to locate her missing luggage, she slips and hits her head. When she comes to, Chris is there, helping her up. She soon realizes that everything around her is starting to unfold like a classic Christmas movie. Though she’s not a fan of the holiday, she now finds herself caught in every cliché a Christmas film has to offer. She comes to understand that she won’t be able to leave until she has played her part in the story—which includes working together with Chris.
The idea is fun and the film includes a few amusing moments if you've seen many movies of this kind. But there's no getting around the fact that it doesn't quite measure up. The acting isn't very strong, and there are some flaws in the plot. And the Santa i horrible.
