Trish works in PR at Sunny Day Lemonade. One of their initiatives is to try to influence legislation in various states to allow children to have so-called lemonade stands. A case now emerges in Golden Valley where a little girl has been ordered by the city to shut down her stand. Trish doesn’t want to go there, as it’s her old hometown that she has left behind, but with no one else available, she’s forced to go anyway. To make matters worse, it turns out the girl’s father is Evan, whom Trish dated back in school. On top of that, she also has to deal with her relationship with her mother while trying to influence the city council.
A typical romantic film that doesn’t stand out from the crowd. It delivers what it’s supposed to—that’s really all there is to say.
