Brooklyn is tired of the formal reporting on financial news. But when she tries to lighten things up a bit, she gets a warning from her boss. However, a new opportunity arises when the station’s entertainment reporter is unable to attend the annual balloon festival in Albuquerque. Brooklyn is sent instead, along with Elise, her photographer. Arrangements have been made for them to stay with Jared, who runs the balloon company Love in the Air. The problem for Brooklyn is that she’s afraid of heights, so going up in a balloon is something she hopes to avoid. Jared, who takes the opportunity to show her around town, challenges her to face her fear.
Quite beautiful scenes with the sky full of hot air balloons, especially the evening scenes. If you like ballooning, it probably has something to offer. But if you take that away, there’s not much left, and the final scene in particular is both silly and fake.
