Francine works as a designer at a clothing company with a demanding boss. As Christmas approaches, an opportunity opens up for her to become a partner in the company — something her boyfriend thinks is excellent, as it aligns well with his ambitious plans. At the same time, Francine meets Jaylen, the son of one of her mother’s friends. He is there to help adapt her mother’s home, as her mother is gradually losing her sight. Francine’s sister is also planning to get married at Christmas, with the wedding to be held at their mother’s home. It becomes a hectic lead-up to Christmas, giving Francine reason to reflect on what she truly wants.
A fairly standard romantic film that holds up, without really standing out.
