Mick and Olivia set off for a weekend away where Mick is planning to make a grand gesture. But when the next wedding couple arrives early at the inn and Olivia’s daughter suddenly announces that she has gotten engaged, they head back home to their inn.
The next wedding couple is Abby and Rob, who have carefully planned their wedding. However, Abby begins to feel the pressure from Rob’s family—especially his sister—and starts changing many of the plans at the last minute, convinced that everything needs to be more “fancy” to meet their expectations. It threatens to derail the entire event.
The fourth film out of six in the Wedding March series. It doesn’t strictly fall within the limits I’ve set for the films in this collection (the couples are already together at the beginning), but I’ve included it since it is part of the series. As a romantic film, it works reasonably well, though overall it earns a fairly average rating.
