Jeff is at odds with his neighbour Christine, who wants to evict him so she can expand her living space ahead of her upcoming wedding. Tensions between them escalate, but things take a turn when Jeff learns that his ex-wife is getting remarried. Wanting to attend the wedding with a date to prove he’s moved on, he struggles to find someone willing. In desperation, he asks Christine. She sees an opportunity and agrees — on the condition that he finally moves out. Though they can’t stand each other, they go to the wedding together… and, unsurprisingly, things quickly spiral out of control.
More of a Hollywood-style production, this one delivers a solid story with several twists along the way. Their conflict drags on longer than I expected, and it turns out to be quite a fun romantic film.
