Riley runs a centre for animals in need of new homes. Now it’s threatened by the landlord, who is demanding higher rent when the contract is up for renewal. Prince Edward is making an anonymous visit to the town to meet an old college friend. His friend has a new investment opportunity that Edward is interested in. Edward also encounters Riley, becomes fascinated by her, and takes an interest in the centre she runs. However, it soon becomes clear that he has—without knowing it—found himself caught between conflicting interests.
There seems to be no end to how many princes and kings exist in the world of romantic films. This time, as so many others, it just doesn’t hold up.
