Abby works in a jewelry store but dreams of becoming a jeweler with her own creations. One day, she receives a call from a bank in Belgium informing her that her grandfather is behind on the payments for his jewelry shop in Antwerp. She decides to take some time off and travel there to help him get the business back on track after it has struggled since Abby’s grandmother passed away. In Antwerp, she meets Alexander, the son of her grandfather’s biggest rival. One thing leads to another, and suddenly Abby finds herself competing in a prestigious jewelry competition, where she is up against Alexander, among others. The competition could be Abby’s big breakthrough.
A nice little film that was slightly better than I had feared. It holds up for what it is.
