Lidia is in the process of taking over responsibility for the family restaurant, where she also works as a chef. It’s a traditional Italian restaurant, and Lidia is determined not to change anything, insisting the menu must remain as it has always been. Then along comes Daniel, a tech mogul who has recently ventured into the restaurant business. He wants to invest in the restaurant, and although Lidia—who has visited his first attempt—is reluctant, she eventually agrees as she needs the investment. A struggle ensues, with Daniel wanting to innovate while Lidia wants to preserve. Can they find a balance?
This film holds its own among the rest. It's well-written, well-acted, and doesn't go over the top. All in all, it's simply a good romantic film.
