Laura and Michael first met as youngsters back home in Australia, but Laura had her sights set on studying in England and left. Twenty years later, she’s living in London with her British husband, Jason, and their three sons. She is suddenly diagnosed with MS — the same condition her mother suffers from. In quick succession, she loses her job and Jason, who is killed in a car accident. With nothing left to hold her in London, she heads back to Australia with her sons to be with her parents. There, she bumps into Michael — and his daughter. Could a new life still be waiting for her, after everything?
A beautifully crafted film with a serious theme, made with great sensitivity. It delivers a subtle story filled with humanity and romance.
