Dawn wants to become an artist, and she has been accepted to an art school in Paris, France. The problem is that she can’t afford to go. Her sister convinces her to take part in a reality show in which a wealthy man meets potential partners. Just the compensation for being accepted onto the show would give her enough money to go. When she also learns that it’s supposed to be filmed in Paris, she becomes even more interested in the idea. Her plan is to get accepted and then quickly get herself eliminated from the show, because she’s not looking for a partner. Then the problems begin: it turns out the filming is in Paris, Texas, and the main star of the show is Trey — someone she’s met once before, and he has no intention of letting her slip away.
Better than I expected. The cast of characters in the reality show are amusing caricatures that add a bit of extra spice. Dawn is also quite strong in her self-awareness. A romantic piece of entertainment that turns out well.
