Olivia has found a perfect apartment — she just needs to be able to afford it. Conveniently, she learns that she has inherited her aunt’s estate, which includes half of a cat café, the Catnip Café. She travels there to convince the other owner, Ben, that they should sell the café so she can get the money. Ben is a veterinarian who worked closely with Olivia’s aunt. He is now struggling to run the clinic on his own, but he doesn’t want to sell the café. Moreover, the café hosts important fundraising events every Christmas. He promises to sell after the events — unless Olivia changes her mind — if Olivia helps him market and organise them.
A very good romantic film delivered by two of the genre’s seasoned professionals, and it shows in the production. It turns into a thoroughly enjoyable feel-good movie.
