How will she manage to face her hometown after so many years without having succeeded. How does she manage to meet Barry who she left back home years ago? Will Dean, another schoolmate who is now a fire chief, help her find what to do with the rest of her life?
A good romantic film, again about finding where you belong (according to the screenwriter anyway).

A good romantic film following a known concept.
Tori works at a company that sells sporting goods. She has always been one in the gang among the boys. When the company is to start selling make-up that suits active women, Tori is tasked with developing a marketing campaign for this. To get attention from the company's hot guy, Brian, Tori also starts dressing more girly. But is this Tori really Tori? And what does everyone else around her think, including her best friend Adam?
An okay romantic film about an important theme, but it is sloppy in parts.
Hayley will be celebrating Christmas with her stepsister, Amy, her husband, Tim, and her mother-in-law, Judy. Unfortunately, Tim's brother Paul also shows up. Amy blames Paul for the breakup of her previous relationship.
A pretty bad romantic movie. Jessica Lowndes playing Hayley is OK but Chad Murray's role as Paul is pathetic. He is a really rude bully type that no sane person would like.
Emily's daughter, Heather, avoids going home for Christmas in favour of celebrating with her boyfriend in Arizona. Heather doesn't know this, but Emily decides to surprise her daughter by coming to her in Boston over Christmas. At the same time, Charles, who lives in Boston, has writers block and needs a change of scenery. They get in touch on the internet and decide to switch places over Christmas. Once in Boston, Emily discovers that her daughter has gone away and she is also surprised by Charles' brother, Ray, who thinks she broke into Charles' apartment. Meanwhile, Faith, Emily's best friend, has decided to surprise Emily, who she thinks is celebrating Christmas alone at home, by visiting her. Faith, of course, finds Charles there to her surprise.
Despite double stories (or maybe even three), this film works well. A lot about opening up to new thinking.
Vicki runs a local garden for the neighborhood, a task she inherited from her father. Now the garden is threatened by development led by Chase, who will build homes on the land. Vicki runs a campaign to save their garden.
A decent romantic film that is especially lifted by Sara Rue who plays Vicki as a driven and euntastic force.
Rose has an important project going on at her job as an interior designer, but when she hears that dad hurt his leg in the middle of the tulip harvest back home, she goes home to help. Even though the relationship with her father is a bit strained. Once there, she realizes that the farm is in a really bad situation. In an attempt to save it, they enter a tulip that her father grew in an important tulip competition. Rose also gets help from the farm's new florist, Tom, who has started working for her parents.
A fairly standard tulip-themed romantic film.
Candence and Henry are single parents of a daughter each. They are paired in preparation for this year's Christmas play while Candance, who works as a wedding fixer, plans a wedding for her friend and colleague Avery.
An OK romantic film, even if Henry comes across as quite wooden and a bit stupid.
Jeff works as a car assistant who talks to the customers via connection if they need assistance with the car. When Kelly has an incident, he talks her through the situation and they form a special bond. Can they find each other in real life?
The movie doesn't start well. The 'accident' that Kelly has is a ridiculous small incident. The 'contact' that they form through the call is conspicuous abcent but still it happens (?!). And then Jeff also turns on the speaker function so that the whole office listens to the call is just plain idiotic. However, if you can ignore the lousy start (and pretend that it was a real accident and that they actually formed a bond between them) the film gets a little better after that, but still…
Justin is a successful downhill skier who is determined to come back after an injury. He comes back to his hometown where he hasn't been without a coach for a long time. His manager persuades Justin's former friend Kayla, who works as a ski instructor, to train Justin as they did in their youth.
An average romantic film that has what it needs.
Dr. Sharon Hayes has the chance to receive an important scholarship to continue working with brain research. Before that, however, she must go to Pine Springs to take care of the inheritance of her grandmother who took care of her after Sharon's parents died. Her grandmother has left instructions for her to carry out their Christmas traditions until Christmas before deciding what to do with the house. Grandma's neighbor and lawyer, Sam, and his daughter Mikayla help fixing the Christmas traditions.
A good romantic film about dealing with grief (a la Hallmark) with a lot of feel-good.
Investment broker Johnny has the chance to secure a large account for the firm. She goes to a conference with her boyfriend, where there are good opportunities to network with the right people. However, it turns out that someone else has beaten her to it and secured the deal with the client. After losing the deal, her boyfriend, and possibly her job, chef Andrew at the hotel restaurant invites her to his parents' vineyard to cheer her up.
A somewhat decent romantic movie that doesn't quite reach all the way, as often is the case with productions with religious undertones (even if they're not particularly prominent).
Alex works at an activity and sports company. The CEO has caught sight of a ranch that is for sale and is considering buying it to use as the company's vacation and course farm. Alex is sent there to check the place out and see if it's a good investment. At the farm, she meets the pair of siblings Josh and Taylor who own the place. They are trying desperately to find a buyer who is willing to keep the ranch as is, but so far the best offer is the neighbor who wants to buy it for pasture.
A good romantic film that has a rather neat resolution at the end.
Kate is a doctor and has just gotten an internship and moved to Cedar Park. Kevin just finished his military job and have returned to Cedar Park where his parents live. They are each given a mysterious key along with a riddle to solve. The riddles lead them to jointly search for their way between lots of missions.
A standard romantic film that delivers what it should.
Maddie is a reporter and has a mission to find a Christmas story. Her sister serves as a pilot on an aircraft carrier and it's time for the annual family Christmas cruise so Maddie and her mother go along. On board, Maddie finds a reference to a Christmas story in the ship's archives and is helped by pilot Billy.
A romantic film in a slightly different setting (on board an aircraft carrier). An OK story that also offers some F-18 action but that doesn't make up for a weak story.
Julia and Sydney get a sudden urge to go on a road trip. In a small town in Wyoming, they have a bar incident that lands them in a month of community service. There, Julia meets Ben, who runs the farm where they get to live.
A film about teaching the snobbish townspeople that small town life is the thing. It works as a romantic movie.
Helen runs a flower shop and is constantly supported by her friend Henry. He takes her to the masquerade ball organized by the botanical park he works at. There, Helen meets a masked man who she spends time with and falls for. However, he leaves the ball hastily and Helen never got his name. With the only clue that his flower was bought in her shop, she starts looking for him with the help of Henry and her shop assistant. They manage to find him and he seems perfect. But is he really the one?
A good romantic tale with traces of an inverted Cinderella tale and Cyrano de Bergerac (but without the nose).
Wendy and Jennifer share a home. One day, Wendy finds out that her very absent father has died. It turns out that he let her inherit even though they had no contact since she was little. She takes Jennifer with her to go and see what she inherited. It turns out to be a vineyard whose neighbor wants to buy. Wendy must now decide whether to sell or continue to run the farm. In the meantime, she gets to know Chris, who knows a lot about wine.
A real B-movie that tries to be funny but the bad quality takes away most of the fun.
Kate is a successful violinist who injures the fingers on her left hand. Worried about her career, she gets help from the physiotherapist in her hometown. It turns out that he, Patrick, and Kate knew each other as children. Patrick helps Kate restore her hand and confidence.
A decent romantic film although it will not make film history.
Emily has just returned home and is leaving her law career to run the bakery she inherited from her mother. Suddenly, a Christmas calendar appears that has a little romantic messages every day. Soon the whole town becomes involved in who could be Emily's secret admirer. Meanwhile, Emily battles the new bakery installed in the big grocery store across the street and its baker Gerard.
A not entirely convincing romantic film that feels a bit cheap if not completely rubbish.
Sergeant Cody is serving in Afghanistan where one of the soldiers in his group, Jonsey, is killed. When Cody is sent home on leave, he seeks out Jonsey's girlfriend to hand over Jonsey's belongings. In Nevada City, he meets Faith and also manages to save her father, Luke, from being run over. Luke is a Vietnam veteran and he invites Cody to stay for dinner. Soon Cody is helping out at the family's lumber company.
A really bad story filled with religious pointers and also quite generally a real C production.
Recently divorced Erica gets a Christmas photography assignment in a small town that really celebrates Christmas. She brings her daughter and her mother to the house her company rents for them. While there, they discover that there was a mistake and that the writer Jack, who doesn't like Christmas celebrations, has also rented the cabin to get some peace to write about Christmas. Suddenly they have to share the house as there is nothing else available.
The film is good with just enough conflict and and serious theme. The quarrel between Erica and her daughter works and also gets its resolution.
Jolie, who works as a web designer, still hasn't gotten over hers and her boyfriend's breakup. When she goes home for the Christmas celebration in Lafayette, Louisiana, she will meet him again with his new girlfriend. So that she doesn't have to do this alone, her best friend, Naomi, persuades her to bring Naomi's brother, Jack along as her 'boyfriend'.

Lacey has a practical relationship with her co-worker and partner Roger. Despite a full work schedule, she goes away over Christmas to attend her best friend's wedding. There she is tasked with setting up the cabin in which the wedding couple will celebrate their wedding night. She has to do it with the best man, the bride's brother, Ean. They had a relationship a long time ago but life got in the way.
An ok romantic film with the theme that work may not be everything in life.
Vanessa is a doctor in an emergency hospital. She goes home for Christmas and learns that her father, who runs a doctor's office at home, is thinking of retiring. They are going to rebuild the reception for more suitable use and as builder her father has brought in Mitch, an old boyfriend of Vanessa's.
A normal romantic movie that doesn't really stand out but is OK.
Dr. Zoey is a traveling doctor for hire. Before Christmas, she gets an assignment in the small town of Willowbrook as a house doctor, something that is unusual compared to her usual assignments. She gets to know the city in a closer way and especially Luke, from whom she gets to rent a house. Will it be easy to move on when Christmas is over? And why was she given this particular assignment?
A nice romantic film with a doctor struggling with the memory of a patient she couldn't save. But it still doesn't make it to a 4 rating.
When Jackie thinks she's going to be promoted to editor, she's demoted instead. However, she gets a tip about a newspaper in Alaska that needs a manager and editor. She takes over the paper from Finn whose father started the paper but he would rather blow glass.
A romantic film that works, almost. The theme is the charm of the small town and the quiet life.
Rachel's boyfriend once again doesn't show up for their date. Soon after, she meets Sophia, who is going to sing at a Christmas play but is nervous because she can't really do it. Rachel offers to coach her and then also gets to know Sophia's father, Michael.
Once again a film with a religious message and once again an amateurish performance.
Widowed Sally is a children's book author and lives alone with her dog Buddy. During a storm, Buddy gets scared and runs away. In various detours, Buddy ends up with Mark and his daughter Emma. They are fairly new to the place where they live and Emma develops a strong bond with Buddy. Meanwhile, Sally desperately tries to find Buddy. Finally she tracks him down with Mark and Emma and Mark is now faced with the dilemma of whether or not to return Buddy and make Emma distraught or make Sally sad.
A well acted and believable story. They take the time to tell the story in a good way.
Charlotte, who is a journalist, has left New York to help her brother's family when he is drafted overseas in the military. She hears about plans to rebuild the entire downtown of the small town and one evening she sets off to find out more from Daniel, who owns the company that put in the offer to buy out the town's shopkeepers. On the way there, she crashes and ends up in a coma. Her soul is free from her body and also the soul of the one she collided with which turns out to be said Daniel.
The film is inconsistent (one moment the souls who can't grasp a phone and the next moment they're dressing a Christmas tree). It's not made better by them trying to make Nicolette Sheridan look like she's 35-40 when she's actually 50.
Hazel is an artist trying to get by. Through her sister, Kara, she lands a prestigious assignment to decorate a hotel lobby for Christmas. The hotel is managed by Jonah who may be promoted if this is successful.
The film almost holds up as an average romantic film.
A few weeks before the planned wedding, Avrey's fiancé calls off the wedding in favour of his career. All bookings have to be cancelled, but Avrey allows herself to be persuaded to take the waltz lessons they booked to take together anyway, alone. Despite a shaky start, Roman, her dance teacher, manages to get her to dare to take turns.
A normal romantic film where you waltz around most of the time. It delivers but not much more than that.
Travel reporter Caroline is sent somewhat against her will to do a Christmas report from Carte De Amor, New Mexico. Once there, she meets Oscar Ortiz who introduces her to a new side of Christmas.
An almost average romantic movie with some funny elements of mystery that are not so mysterious but still.
Calvin is a lawyer and is tasked by his boss to secretly get her sister Lauren to stop her blog and book plans where she tries to convince the world that no relationship should last longer than six months.
A different romantic movie (not in terms of results etc. but still a different and slightly more aggressive tone) but it still does not reach all the way.
Dr. Kate is a famous blogger who blogs about dating and relationships. She is about to get engaged to Bryan and her manager wants it to be a publicity stunt. Bryan and Kate break up just as the event is about to start and to save Kate's face, her old friend Lucas steps in and pretends to be her boyfriend.
Could have been a good reel but it is completely ruined by bad acting. How Kate can smile through the last part of the film when she should be upset, sad and moved is completely incomprehensible. The world's most disengaged wedding coordinator as a comic effect does not save the film.
Abby manages to get a temporary position as an editorial assistant at a prestigious publishing house. One of her more dubious tasks will be to check up potential dates for her new boss. In different ways she meets Dan who could be a good candidate. But for whom? And who is the mysterious author who writes under the name Dexter?
A well-constructed romantic story where the plot develops in an interesting way. Better than expected.
The famous movie actress Lara and the writer James are going to get married. However, all marriage attempts are ruined by the paparazzi. They run away to the small Scottish island of Hegg to marry in secret. James' only published book is also set on Hegg, which it turns out he never set foot on. Katie is the only unmarried woman on the island and when the marriage is again falling apart due to the press, she is hired to play a bride in a mock wedding to fool the journalists.
A romantic comedy that has some Whiskey Galore aspirations. Not a classic romantic film but it is good, if you can ignore the fact that James is played by Dr. Who.
Nick and Alicia were in love before WWII. Due to a letter with an engagement ring got lost in the mail, and instead a feud arose between the families. Now Sara and Tony find themselves in that feud when the families' vineyards would be good to merge.
Far too much Italian, illogical, temperament in this film for me to like it.
Belle is a fashion model who goes back to the village where Santaland is held every year to look for a bracelet she lost there as a child. Once there, she meets Josh, with whom she was a pen pal as a child.
A really bad movie with religious undertones. Why is it that when you try to promote religious values, everything becomes polemical and amateurish?
Stephanie is dumped by her boyfriend just as they are about to move in together before Christmas. She decides to go home to her family for Christmas instead. On the same flight is Michael who is on his way to his girlfriend, to whom he intends to propose. Due to a blizzard lands them in Montana and is forced to share a hotel room.
A really lousy romantic movie. Wrong actors to convince and the story doesn't convince either.
Alec lives a broken life in London with gambling debts over his ears. Suddenly he is contacted by an unknown uncle who offers to pay all his debts if he goes and lives in the uncle's house in Nova Scotia, Canada, for a whole year. Once there, Alec discovers that the town believes he is a healer who can cure their ailments. He gets help from the town's veterinarian, Cecilia.
A real feel-good film about how a broken person becomes whole. Also a fairly funny movie in parts that was better than I thought.
Becca is an insurance agent but on the side she makes jewelry. She is also very often a bridesmaid. When her cousin is getting married, she runs into Kyle, who is hired to film all the preparations and the wedding itself.
As a very good romantic film, this holds up well without too much drama.
Peter has a tumor that has caused him to never enter puberty. When it is removed, he undergoes puberty in three weeks (in his thirties).
A fairly poorly executed and juvenile film that is only brightened by Peter's two friends (funny supporting roles) and his father. Shouting personal embarrassments over an entire restaurant at the end hardly convinces.
Luke, who is a rodeo star, and Sophia, who studies at a collage, meet and, despite hesitations, Sophia agrees to a date. On the way home, they come to a single vehicle accident where they manage to save an elderly man. Sophia also manages to save a basket containing lots of letters from the man to his great love. While the man recovers, Sophia gets to read the letters aloud to him and gains insight into his life with his wife and the hardships they have been through. This also affects Sopia's relationship with Luke who, despite what everyone says, continues with the rodeos.
Slightly different romantic film with two parallel stories separated in time. Had a bit of a hard time with the rodeo theme, but that can be tolerated. The resolution alone is worth the film though.
A TV reporter, Susan, takes an assignment about an old lady who every Valentine goes to the train station where she waved off her husband to WWII. She gets involved in the case and also slowly falls for the lady's grandson, Lucas.
A good film that maybe becomes very nostalgic (some might think it goes a bit overboard but as a romantic movie it works.)
Logan finds a photo of a girl during the fighting in Iraq. He searches for its owner without luck and in the meantime the photo symbol for his luck and that he survives. When he gets home again, he decides to look for the girl in the picture and thank her for the luck. He manages to find her, but before he can explain what he's doing there, he gets a job at her kennel.
A very good film that is more drama than a classic romantic film. However, it ends as it should to be romantic.
Ethan needs money and gets hired to break up a relationship that the parents don't like. He succeeds well and is soon engaged by severals to do the same for them. But suddenly, he becomes hired to break up the relationship for his childhood crush, Emily.
A mediocre film that is so-so.
Matti goes to his hometown for his sister Clare's wedding. Matti's fiancee has too much work so he doesn't come along as planned. During the wedding preparations, Matti meets Jake, who works in her father's car workshop where she used to go to tinker as a child.
A pretty good romantic movie. The theme is finding one's true calling while finding love.
Alex is a ghostwriter for his friend and celebrity Sterling who made a success with Sterling Masters' Holiday Adventures. He is sent away by Sterling to cover the Christmas celebrations in the small town of Midway, Utah. Reluctantly, he goes there to write on Sterling's behalf. At the same time, the city is looking forward to a visit from Sterling. So does Aria who works at The Mistletoe Diner, which is run by her family.
A fairly good romantic film that almost has a bit of Cyrano about it.
Jen plans to celebrate Christmas with her son, her uncle, her fiance and his parents. The uncle meets a nice guy on the plane there who gets stranded and he takes him home a few days before Christmas.
A nice romantic film, although a little poorly developed how the guy can change his plans so easily.
Emily and Ben pushes away one nanny after another with their terrible 'practical jokes'. Their single father struggles to juggle life with work and children. Kate needs another job while she takes care of her sick father, studies to be a teacher and as a charity supports weak students in the evenings. She gets the job as Emily and Ben's nanny. The only difference is that she doesn't give up like all previous nannies. Dislike also arises between her and the father but especially Emily does everything to get rid of Kate.
This one surprised me a little in how good it was. It starts like most others, a bit like a comedy but it gets good and tackles some slightly more difficult things.
Molly runs a boot camp for brides-to-be. It combines physical training with psychology before the wedding. At a wedding to which she has been invited by one of her students, she meets the wedding photographer Nick, who she finds interesting. Then when Nick shows up on her course as the prospective groom of one of her new students, she is completely taken aback. In addition, Nick has been commissioned to photograph the gym where Molly has her course.
A good romantic film even if it gets a little compressed at the end. Weddeings must be a tough thing in the US as they have a boot camp for a one time event...
Jessica balances life between running her grandfather's Diner (which is going pretty bad) and taking care of her son. Her high school boyfriend, Chase, has been a successful baseball player but now he is having trouble signing a contract for next season. While waiting for a new contract, he goes to his hometown to lay low.
Despite the sports theme, this is a pretty good romantic film.
Tom is very skilled at finding perfect gifts for different people. So good that he made it his thing and offers to help people find the best gifts for their loved ones. One day Sam, his collage friend, comes and asks him to find the perfect gift for his girlfriend Jenny after he realizes that they are not quite on the same page. Tom reluctantly takes on the mission and begins to find out more about Jenny in order to succeed. The problem is that Jenny is amazing.
A good romantic film about the fact that those who are together may not always fit together.
Holly's mother, Jean, moves after each relationship. Holly gets tired of this and invents a secret admirer so that the mother will not throw herself at the first best guy she finds. The lie is getting harder and harder to keep up.
A decent film but without the romantic ending, so maybe it really shouldn't be on the list. It snuck in anyway.
Maisie has a business around a dating app that specializes in fixing dates for events that require +1. The app has just received scathing criticism from journalist Luke when Maisie's sister is getting married and Jenna needs a +1 for the wedding. She uses her own app and to her horror it is Luke who shows up.
An okay romantic film how enemies find each other.
Andrew's very troublesome boss, Margaret, is threatened with deportation to Canada. She decides to fake a romance and wedding with Andrew in order to stay in the country. To succeed in the scam against the immigration authorities, they go to Andrew's parents in Alaska before Christmas.
This is more of a Hollywood production with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. Pretty good as a romantic movie.
Stephanie takes over her parents' business, The Christmas Shop, which has been in the same place all her life. But now she learns that a real estate company has taken over the property and will rebuild and thus evict the current tenants. The remodeling project is to be led by Michael, who is given the tedious task of getting rid of the current tenants. He is confronted by Stephanie who definitely does not want to close her shop.
A good romantic film that does not stand out but delivers what it should. The theme is to stick to the old.
Christy has a Christmas tree farm and sells Christmas trees in New York every year. His son Danny wants to take up photography but Christy has no understanding for this. One year when Danny is seventeen, he runs away and disappears in New York. There, during the year, he makes contact with Catherine, who is the curator of a photographic museum. The following year, Christy and Danny's sister return to sell Christmas trees and to look for Danny.
A semi-romantic film that is mostly about the conflict between Christy and Danny rather than the romance between Christy and Catherine. However, the religious undertones are not very prominent even though they are there.
Amanda is trying to manage the family restaurant when a magical crab appears and things start to go well. Tom, who is the manager of the family group's department store in town, runs into Amanda and falls for her.
The movie has the wrong title. Instead of Simply Irresistible, it should have been called Totally resistable. That the film is more than 20 years old is evident and low budget too.
Hayley runs a charity for kids who want to start growing things and moves into an office hotel where Josh, who runs another charity to teach kids computers, also rents. Their projects are pitted against each other for a larger grant. At the same time, Hayley and her friend find a package of romantic letters and an engagement ring that arouse their curiosity. They mail the sender anonymously and Hayley begins an anonymous dialogue with the letter sender over the Internet.
An, of course, predictable story but still well executed where the revelations come only at the end and both realize the truth almost at the same time.
Sarah is writing a culinary book while helping her sister, Molly, get her catering company up and running. Underneath Sarah lives Jason whose brother is about to get married. Jason's sisters now want to reunite Jason with his previous girlfriend, which Jason does not want. Now it just so happens that Molly is trying to get an assignment for the family business that Jason works for (his father runs it) and it will be Sarah who has to try to convince Jason to choose Molly's company. Jason agrees in exchange for Sarah accompanying him to the wedding week as his "girlfriend" so he can escape his sisters' plans.
Decent romantic film that might have been better with a little better acting.
Laurel, a single mother, works for the municipality and is suddenly tasked with organizing a Christmas parade at short notice. In her search for suitable objects for the parade, she finds an old sleigh that she can borrow in exchange for fixing it up. The sled also indirectly brings her to Alex, her high school boyfriend who is back in town to help his aunt sell her store and retire. Although the mood between them is not the best since they broke up their relationship, they will eventually work together to restore the sleigh.
The theme of the mysterious sleigh and Mr. Winter doesn't quite measure up.
Nell has published her first book and it has become a success. When it comes out that she based her story on a small town that a fellow student told her about, her publisher immediately arranges a book signing in the small town's bookstore. However, it turns out that it is now owned by said fellow student, Emmett, and Nell and Emmett had something going when Emmett suddenly left her a number of years ago…
The film holds up, even if it's a bit unbelievable that they haven't had any contact in all these years.
Greta works at a gossip magazine. Now she is tasked with finding out about the gossip surrounding Senator Tannhill's sons, where there is a rumor that one of them will propose before Christmas. A good romantic film about skepticism of sensational journalism.

Rachel gets to accompany Adrian and Diane, the firm's architect, to a newly restored hotel to meet the prospective clients. The hotel hasn't opened yet and they are the only guests (the company are the ones who restored the hotel), however, they get snowed in after Diane goes on a rocognition for another job. Rachel and Adrian are spending the weekend alone in a fully staffed hotel and maybe there's more to it than just a work relationship?
A reasonably good romantic film with love at work.
When Samantha's father retires from his job as a football coach, she goes home to celebrate him. What she didn't count on was that her old high school boyfriend Jake, who is now a pro football player, would also be there.
Despite the sports theme, the film holds up and turns out well.

The newspaper they work on is struggling and needs a good story before Christmas. Jenna and Kevin are sent off to Aspen to do their own reports and whoever does the best has their job secured. However, their plan is diverted due to a blizzard and they both end up at a small inn in Santa Claus, Indiana. Their personalities clash but maybe that's a good thing?
A good film with a lot of feel-good and mysterious inn owners.

Sara and Tony were together in their youth and were going to open a restaurant together but Tony left Sara for the chance to train as a chef in Paris. Now Sara runs her own restaurant in Little Cuba, Miami, and Tony has a fine restaurant in New York with a Michelin star. It's time to arrange their nieces, Lolas and Giselles, quinceañeras (Luke's sisters each have a child and one sister is married to Jenny's brother). Luke is hired by his one sister to cook for the Giselles while Jenny is hired by her brother and the other sister to cook for the Lolas. Now they are confronted with each other and different wills around two different quinceañeras who in turn compete with each other.
A slightly complicated story with a Luke who I think is a bit more slimy than charming.
Olivia is a movie star who gets dumped by her celebrity boyfriend before Christmas. To avoid the attention, she flees to her hometown where she hasn't been in 10 years. There she meets Casey who is a teacher at their old school.
Would have been better if not for Victor Zinck Jr. in the role of Casey. He torpedoes the entire film.
Bryce is an actor agent in Hollywood. When he is pressured to go back to his hometown for a High School reunion, he feels he should bring a girlfriend. The problem is, he has none. He convinces his client Madison to come along and pretend to be his girlfriend. However, not everything goes quite as planned.
A good romantic film even if there are some gaps it works.
Jillian is in the middle of her career and works hard for a promotion that doesn't happen. Suddenly she inherits a mountain cabin (or rather big house) from her uncle. In order to claim the inheritance, she must be present. She goes there to sell the place but discovers that she has only inherited half of the place and that the other half has been inherited by Liam who has been taking care of it for the past few years. She now has to stay and sort this out.
A half-decent film that is dragged down a bit by the constant theme that it is wrong to have a career in the big city.
Anna's aunt, Belle, meets Sean who is a famous movie actor and they decide to get married after only one month. Anna doesn't think it's a good idea as does Sean's son, Clay. Anna and Clay begin working to stop the wedding.
As a romantic film, it works.

Taylor moves to New York to take up the challenge. There she meets Philip, who is a realtor and tries to find a home for her. Will she be up to the challenge of managing the store with the very stubborn owner?
A good romantic film that actually also has the reverse scenario that you move to the city to focus on your career and not the other way around.
Debbie is a pop star who has had her peak. When the bookings fail, she goes to her sister's to lie low, waiting for a comeback. She takes on a number of young people who have a music project at school. She also gets to know one of the young people's father, Noah.
Was a bit skeptical about this one but it gets better and is OK in the end.
Terry writes romance novels but has writer's block with her next book. Her best friend Leslie lends her family's house in France to Terry and her daughter for the summer so she can get away and concentrate on writing. What they didn't know was that Leslie's brother, Victor, was also planning to live in the house for the summer to escape the bad review his restaurant received. Terry and Victor had a 'blind date' a week or so earlier that didn't go so well, so they start off on the wrong foot when they are now forced to live in the same place over the summer.
A good movie. A bit unusual with most of the action in France.
Kate works at a publishing house doing bookkeeping etc. She goes on a romantic holiday with her boyfriend Eric who is also a career person, but in the construction industry. Their holiday doesn't turn out so romantic when Eric devotes himself to work. At the resort, Kate also meets Michael, whom she knows from before. He works as an event manager at the resort.
A romantic movie that works and also gives us a small epilogue (an underrated thing in romantic movies)
Josie's boyfriend, Richard, is not approved by her parents. One day Josie meets Maxwell with whom she was at the Prom dance. Maxwell lives a wandering life selling driftwood art. When Richard then meets Maxwell, he gets the idea that Josie brings Maxwell home as a date for her parents' 40th wedding anniversary. The plan is for her parents to be so horrified that Josie is dating Maxwell that they see Richard in a more positive light.
A really fun romantic movie. Almost a bit of Tati philosophy in it. (It's very good even if you can't stop wondering what kind of life they will have in the "happily ever after")
Maggie is a skilled investment broker. She sets off to bury her aunt, and during the reading of the will, she learns that she has inherited half of her aunt's famous maple syrup candy shop. The other half has been left to Dex. Dex manages the farm that supplies all the maple syrup to her aunt's shop. Now Maggie has to sort this out and decide how she wants to handle it all. Meanwhile, her aunt has left small letters for her to open one per day during the annual festival in town.
A romantic film for a suitable autumn day. How two opposites unite.
Josie is in the middle of her career in marketing when her sister and brother-in-law suddenly die in a car accident. She is going home to New Hope, Carolina, to be close to family during this difficult time. When they read the will, it turns out that her sister wanted Josie to have custody of her two children. Suddenly, Josie has to change her life when she promises that she will make it. She gets unexpected support from Cooper, who has also recently returned to town and whom Josie had a crush on in high school.
A good romantic film with a fairly serious subject. I think they got it together well.
Diane struggles with the challenges of post-divorce life as a single mother of two teenage children. When she loses her job and at the same time inherits a house in Carolina, she moves there with the children despite the oldest daughter's protests. Once there she also meets Luke whom she left many years ago and things become even more complicated. But things are slowly starting to sort themselves out.
A good feel-good romantic film where the challenges become believable even if Luke could perhaps be more eloquent.
Amanda is frustrated that her new product ideas are not accepted at the cosmetics company she works for. When her ideas are once again ignored, she takes time off to go to her aunt who needs help on her pecan farm as she has injured her wrist. When she gets there, she learns that the aunt intends to sell the farm to move in with her new boyfriend. Amanda's ex boyfriend, J.P., is the broker that the aunt wants to hire, and Amanda is forced to work with him in order for the farm to be bought by the right kind of new owner.
A good romantic film even if it is again about getting back together with your ex. like there was no reason why they didn't stay together from the start.
Gwen manages to get the assignment to value things in a house that is to be fixed up for sale in exchange for her helping to decorate it for Christmas. However, she is pitted against Reed, who has the cleaning company assigned to clean up the house before the sale.

What Samantha doesn't know is that her father has hired her ex-husband, Luke, as a trainer for the competition. Now she is confronted partly by her defunct horse jumping career and unresolved conflicts with her ex-husband.
Why on earth would Samantha ever take back such a hopeless man as Luke?
Lauren is busy with her successful podcast where she advices women how to get things done more efficiently so they get more done. However, she herself receives advise to find balance in her hectic life in order to succeed. So she heads to Meadowlawn in Montana for a week without a cell phone or computer to try to relax. The place is run by the West family, mother Sally and their two children Jack and Ayla. Jack helps Lauren find balance and Lauren influences Jack to think about his life choices.
A good romantic movie where Lauren resembles an Energizer Bunny at the beginning.

A really good romantic film about a serious subject. I especially thought the ending was well done.
Harper is a doctor at the university's art department. She is responsible for the institute's large art exhibition, but when the exhibition's main attractions is canceled, she faces difficulties. When she discovers that Tom, whom she recently hired as a dog sitter, is a skilled painter, she gets the idea to let him exhibit. The problem is that he is unknown why Harper invents a family tie between Tom and Van Gogh to get the university interested.
A decent romantic film that doesn't make it all the way.
Zoe has a hard time finding a man who suits her, but she wants to have children, so badly that she undergoes artificial insemination. Almost at the same time she meets Stan and they start seeing each other and the spark is lit. Then Zoe is informed that the fertilization has worked and that she is with child. How will Stan take this?
A good romantic movie. Sometimes really funny.
Matt runs his father's bakery in Winward located on an island in the Puget Sound. The island suffers from declining tourism and they do what they can to attract people to the island. Another business that is also struggling is McBride's Diner, which is run by Matt's childhood friend Annie. When a ballet company comes to the island to rehearse, Matt becomes enamored with one of the dancers and suddenly the bread he bakes tastes amazing. It will be a boost for the island. But can Matt's relationship with the dancer last?
A good movie where it turns out that the best ingredient when baking is love (sorry that I blew the surprise).
Gwen has her life lined up. She directs commercials and plans to move with her boyfriend, Alex, to Los Angeles and advance her career. The plan also includes getting engaged before 30. When this doesn't happen, she wishes she could see ten years into the future. During a visit to the eye doctor, she gets a vision where she is married to her colleague Dave and lives with a child and a dog in the suburbs. It's not at all what she had in mind, could that be true?
The film lives up to the standards. About how you have to open yourself up to other possibilities and get over your fear of dogs.
Britney doesn't believe in love and works to help people to break up for those who can't bear to do it themselves. Her company faces competition from a new one who is poaching her customers. At the same time, she is hired by Mike, an artist, who wants her to coach him to become the kind of man that Britney's sister, Tiffany, wants.
A film with several plots and non of them engages.
Art historian Maddie receives a book that may lead to the famous Love Stone. She travels to the Caribbean island in question to try and find it. On the island, she meets Andrew Fitzpatrick, who runs a hotel on the island that is struggling with declining visitor numbers. They are considering whether to shut down the annual festival due to lack of interest. Can Maddie find the rock? Can it attract new tourists to the island?
A fairly cheap production. The budget probably went to the plane tickets to the Caribbean.
Holly is encouraged by her boss to take Christmas off. She goes home to her father, who runs a department store in her hometown. A crisis in the staffing of the Santa station in the department store means that they hire Nick, who is friends with the Santa renting company, and Holly herself jumps into Santa's helper.
It goes well with many of the common ingredients. The nod to the Cinderella story and the hunt for someone who fits the shoe (which actually doesn't take up much space in the film despite the title) gets silly, but if you ignore that, it's good.
